CAME ATI-S
Hello members, does anyone know how to install a 24vac maglock on a single gate through a videx unit(1 way audio)and for it to release the came ati-s from the service button on the handset in the house.the videx is a 12vac unit so its thrown me slightly.
The gate is up and running, its the mag and 1 way unit thats being added.
many thanks
steve

RE: CAME ATI-S
Steve,
Try emailing CAME Technical, technical @ cameuk.com
(Remove the spaces) They helped me the other week with a photocell problem I had, jolly decent chaps!

RE: CAME ATI-S
Would really need to know the model of the control board
The maglock is energized form the came control panel not the Videx intercom panel
the videx intercom gives the signal to open the gates to the Came control panel and in turn the panel de-energizes the maglock before starting to open the gates.
Are you sure it is a 24VAC maglock? Most are 24VDC (although they are available)
If its DC then you will need a bridge rectifier to go form the AC output form the came panel into DC for the maglock
you will also need a 24VAc relay
If you need a diagram then just shout as the wiring is to involved to just explain
